Eco-Poly Lighting with Fluff Corp.
Lucretti Krelle commissioned Fluff Corp to design and make lighting for Hurricanes Cronulla, a restaurant next to the beach in Sydney. The lights are large so weight was a consideration - we hand modelled them, 3D scanned and then 3D printed them from up-cycled high density polystyrene. This material is unused off cuts from the building industry - a clean material that would normally be melted down and put into landfill. We covered in our custom render - a combination of sand, oyster shell and pigment. The resulting lights are eco-friendly, lightweight and strong, the LED lights are low heat and have a beautiful warm light.
